irish sunday times
Just back from Kilkenny, I’m so pleased to have been invited to speak today, it was great to talk to so many of the visitors (and buyers!) at the show and get valuable feedback on the new work I presented. The selection of work in the show was fantastic, all presented beautifully, I was so well looked after, the festival organisers were fab, as was the curator, Angela O’Kelly. But a special thanks must go to Tony, who picked me up from and returned me (with my parents) to the airport in Dublin - thanks!
Article by Dara Flynn from the Irish Sunday Times last week can be read here too.

off to ireland on friday
So I’m looking forward to my trip to Ireland on Friday! I’m meeting up with my parents who are coming down to see the Sterling Irish show - and hear my talk on Sunday, now that IS nerve wracking…! I’m being picked up from Dublin airport by a VERY kind vounteer for the Kilkenny Arts Festival, and I’m anticipating the journey through lush green countryside already.
I’ve not been to Kilkenny for a long time, and I’m looking forward to seeing how my new fluo orange fittings look in multiple too. Angela’s been doing a great job sorting it all out and hanging all the work, and it’s so great to know my work is in safe hands!
My good friend Lucy (Lucy May Schofield makes beautiful books and gorgeous cards, you should check her work out…) has just come back from Ireland, and she had such a wonderful time that I can’t help but smile thinking about it. Only thing to make it better would be if Ivor was coming with me…
